AMI Labs

AMI Labs, the Paris-based AI startup co-founded by Turing Award winner Yann LeCun after he left Meta, has raised $1.03 billion at a $3.5 billion pre-money valuation to develop world models—AI systems that learn from physical reality rather than language alone.

Yann LeCun's new venture, AMI Labs, is set to revolutionize AI by focusing on 'world models' that simulate real-world dynamics, a departure from traditional large language models. The Paris-based startup, with a reported $3.5 billion valuation, aims to create more reliable and controllable AI for industries like healthcare and robotics.
