Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced that the 'ChatGPT moment' for physical AI has arrived, unveiling the company's Alpamayo technology for autonomous vehicles at CES 2026. Huang predicts that robotaxis will be among the first to benefit from AI models that enable ubiquitous driverless cars, targeting a projected $13.6 trillion market by 2030.

Autonomous vehicle startup Waabi secures $1 billion funding with $750M Series C and $250M from Uber to deploy 25,000+ robotaxis on the ride-hailing platform.

From autonomous robotaxis becoming a common sight to AI agents that shop on our behalf, 2026 is projected to be the year AI seamlessly integrates into our daily routines. Expect chatbots to evolve into 'everything apps' and humanoid robots to start handling household chores.
